Both hot water boilers for producing water vapor under high pressure and boilers are considered to be steam boilers. As a general term, boilers are used to denote steam generators and hot water devices. There are two types of boilers in this industry: steam engine boilers and fire tube boilers.
A steam engine boiler is used to generate steam in the operation of a steam turbine. In a current steam engine boiler, 3,600 tons of steam are produced per hour at a pressure of 300 bar and a steam temperature of 620 °C.
Fire tube boilers are commonly used in small and medium industrial plants, such as paper or food industries, where mixtures of small and medium hot water or water vapor are required at low pressures. These boilers are suitable for technical construction equipment of large complexes, such as hotels, hospitals, etc.
