Insulation rock wool is a environmental friendly class A1 noncombustible fire protection building material. The application of insulation basalt wool in buildings mainly includes three application forms: external wall thermal insulation, fire isolation belt, and roof thermal insulation.

The insulation rock wool can be used as a fire isolation barrier, and is used in conjunction with thermal insulation materials whose combustion performance cannot reach Class A to improve the fire protection function of the exterior wall of the building. The use of insulation rock wool as a fire barrier in the external thermal insulation system can effectively prevent the spread of flames inside the system. Under fire conditions, the fire barrier should not only prevent or slow down the attack of the fire source on the internal and external thermal insulation systems in the directly affected area, but also prevent the flame from spreading outward through the external thermal insulation system. At the same time, it must be able to maintain the stable existence of its own fire-resistant structure and maintain the basic stability of the insulation system.
High-strength fire-proof
insulation rock wool board can be used as insulation layer and bearing layer to form a roofing system combined with flexible waterproof membrane, vapor barrier and system fasteners. It is generally used in steel or concrete flat roof of industrial plants, airports, shopping malls, stadiums and warehouses. This system is a new type of roofing system with the functions of safety and fire prevention, high efficiency and energy saving, sound absorption and sound insulation. It has been widely used in Europe and the United States and other countries.
Next issue we will continue to introduce insulation rock wool in industrial insulation. Please stay tuned!
