The insulation rock wool products are produced with high-quality basalt and dolomite as the main raw materials. After being melted at temperature above 1450 ℃, they are centrifuged into fibers at a high speed by an internationally advanced four-shaft centrifuge. At the same time, a certain amount of binder, dustproof oil, and water repellent agent are added. Then the fiber is collected by the collecting machine. Through the pendulum method, the three-dimensional method of spreading the fiber wool bulk, it is solidified and cut to form rock wool products of different specifications and uses.
Insulation rock wool products have been widely used in various industries such as construction, metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, petroleum, agriculture, machinery, light industry, textile, military industry, transportation, storage and so on.
1. Industrial insulation
As a new type of thermal insulation material, insulation rock wool is also widely used in the field of industrial thermal insulation. Because the insulation rock wool board is a semi-hard material, it can be bent within 30°. Large-scale equipment with flat or swell surface can be insulated with insulation rock wool products and achieve good thermal insulation effects. Insulation rock wool products has the dual characteristics of semi-hard and soft materials, and can also be used for small equipment or large-diameter pipe insulation. It can be bent and flat, and is very convenient for construction. Large pipes can be wrapped with rock wool for insulation, and small pipes can be insulated with rock wool pipe shells. Rock wool pipe shell is extremely convenient for indoor pipes or occasions that are not convenient for the installation of pipes insulation. Others, such as tees, valves, elbows, etc., can also be insulated with prefabricated insulation rock wool block.
Cold water pipes and furnace walls whose temperature does not exceed 500 degrees Celsius, can be insulated with rock wool felt or rock wool board instead of thermal insulation bricks to form a lightweight furnace wall. This is essential to reduce the overall weight of large thermal power boilers or fast-installed boilers.
Next issue we will continue to introduce other application areas of
insulation rock wool products. Please stay tuned!
