Precautions for using thermal insulation rock wool board
1. In order to achieve the goal of minimum heat loss, the joints of the thermal insulation rock wool board and the felt must be tightly connected. If there are multiple layers of thermal insulation, the various cross joints need to be interwoven to avoid forming a thermal bridge. In cold insulation the cold bridge must be completely prevented.
2. When the insulation object is placed at 90 degrees and has a certain height, the thermal insulation rock wool board must have positioning pins or supporting rings, and the spacing must not be greater than 3 meters to prevent the insulation material from sliding down when there is vibration.
3. If the thermal insulation rock wool board is used in outdoor insulation that is susceptible to damage from mechanical wear, metal or plastic wrap should be used. And then pay attention to the joints and the sealing of the joints. If necessary, add glue seals. The stacking part of wrapping layer should not be less than 100mm.
