Construction method of thermal insulation rockwool board
7. Polish the uneven joints between the thermal insulation rockwool boards
7.1 If the flatness deviation of the joints exceeds 1.5mm, use coarse sandpaper to smooth them;
7.2 Any residual waste on the surface of the thermal insulation rockwool board should be removed before the construction of the surface layer;
8. Paving mesh cloth on thermal insulation rockwool board
8.1 The front surface of the rock wool board which needs to be over wrapped is applied with a width of 100mm and a thickness of 1.5~2.0mm mixed surface mortar;
8.2 Turn over the pre-thrown over-wrapped mesh cloth along the thickness of the board and press it into the plastering glue;
8.3 After the overwrap construction is completed at the door and window openings, the standard alkali-resistant grid cloth strips with 240mm wide and 300mm long are laid obliquely at the bottom of the four corners at 45° and pressed into the plastering glue;
8.4 The mesh cloth should be completely immersed in the plastering mortar and shall not be exposed.
9. Bottom plastering mortar
9.1 The construction of plastering mortar shall be carried out from top to bottom and from left to right in each construction area;
9.2 Use a stainless steel trowel to smear on surface of thermal insulation rockwool board a layer of 1-2mm thick mixed mortar. The thermal insulation rockwool board should be covered completely.
9.3 The area of each application of mortar should be slightly larger than the area of a mesh cloth.
9.4 At the parts that have been over wrapped or have been reinforced with mesh, the thickness of the bottom plastering mortar should be controlled within 1.5mm.
