Construction method of rockwool board insulation
3. Apply turnover mesh cloth on the base layer;
3.1 The exposed parts of the rockwool board insulation should be treated with standard alkali-resistant mesh cloth. The specific parts include: 1) the opening of doors and windows; 2) the end of the parapet;
3.2 Cut 300mm width standard alkali-resistant mesh cloth strip;
3.3 Spread a bonding mortar with a width of 100mm and a thickness of 2 to 3mm on the base layer of the parts that need to be turned over;
3.4 Lay alkali-resistant mesh cloth strip on the bonding mortar, and evenly press it into the bonding mortar with a stainless steel trowel, press 100 width of mesh cloth into the mortar, let the remaining part of the mesh cloth be thrown out and keep it clean for future turnover.
4. Bonding mortar
4.1 Spread the bonding mortar on the surface of the rockwool board insulation in dot and frame shape;
4.2 It should be ensured that the effective bonding area on the surface of rockwool board insulation should be 50% and bonding must be firm.
4.3 Use a stainless steel trowel to smear 50mm wide continuous bonded mortar strip on the edge of the board, and smear 8 bonding mortar blocks with diameter no less than 140mm in the middle of the board, and the thickness is no less than 8mm.
4.4 In order to prevent hot and cold bridges, no bonding mortar should be applied to the side faces of the rock wool board insulation, and the mortar on the side faces shall be scraped off immediately.Make sure there is no mortar one the faces between boards
