The thermal insulation performance of rock wool insulation slab has always been very good, especially under normal temperature, its thermal insulation performance is much better than that of other insulation boards. In addition, the sound insulation performance of rock wool is quite good, and it is widely used in Europe and North America. However, the following points should be paid attention to when constructing the rock wool insulation slab:

     5. When the temperature exceeds 200°C, appropriate outer protection must be added to the insulation, so that the possible expansion will not change the thickness and bulk density.
     6. For thermal insulation of rock wool products for large-diameter or flat-wall equipment, thermal insulation nails should be added when the temperature exceeds 200 °C(spacing 400mm), and the outer protection should be tightly attached.
     7. When the insulation object is placed vertically and has a considerable height, the insulation layer must have positioning pins or support rings, and the distance should not be greater than 3 meters to prevent the insulation material from sliding down when there is vibration.
     8. Outdoor thermal insulation and cold insulation construction should not be carried out in rainy days, otherwise rain-proof measures should be taken.
     If the construction of rock wool insulation slab is not carried out seriously, it is likely that the rock wool insulation will not be effective.
